Durataf 25 mg tablet is an antiviral medication used to treat chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in adults with stable liver disease. It is also used as part of a combination therapy to treat HIV-1 infection. Its active ingredient is tenofovir alafenamide. Durataf works by stopping or slowing the growth of viruses in the body. It helps reduce the viral load in infected cells, allowing the immune system to recover. While it helps manage the virus, it does not prevent the transmission of HIV or hepatitis B to others. Taking precautions like safe sex and not sharing needles is still necessary.DURATAF 25MG TABLET contains 'Tenofovir alafenamide'. It inhibits HBV replication by incorporating the HBV reverse transcriptase into viral DNA, resulting in DNA chain termination. Thereby, it prevents the virus from producing new viruses and clears the infection
